Vicar
The Rev David Ford was appointed Team Vicar of St John’s and Chaplain to The National Academy at the beginning of September 2011. He moved here with his wife, Liz, a reflexologist, their dog, Jess and their three cats – Ollie, Mags and Rowan. David and Liz have two grown up children: Becky who is a Maths teacher in Leeds and Kieran who is a University student at Aberystwyth.
Prior to Hucknall, David was a School Chaplain in Leeds and Curate at Leeds Parish Church. David trained at The Queens’ Foundation in Birmingham and has degrees in Politics and Theology. Before entering ordained ministry in 2009, David and Liz ran their own marketing and PR firm in Oxfordshire which David began in 1991.
