St John’s church was filled this afternoon for the annual nativity and crib service during which the story was re-told by ‘Isaiah’, ‘Luke’ and ‘Matthew’ whilst almost 30 chidren enjoyed playing the parts of Mary and Joseph, shepherds, kings and angels. This coming Sunday an unusual flock of sheep will be gathering at St John’s Church prior to finding homes around Hucknall in the lead up to Christmas.
