About Us

St John’s is a welcoming church and we work hard to live up to our motto: Love God, Love People.

The church was built in the 1870′s to provide for the spiritual needs of the growing number of miners and their families in the Butlers Hill and Broomhill areas of Hucknall. Even though the mines are now shut, St John’s continues to provide a spiritual home for all who live in the area. St John’s has a great family and community feel and endeavours to serve the local area and people in many ways.

St John’s is part of the Hucknall Team Ministry and an active member of the local Churches Together group.
